The reason I avoid the manga style, though I love it, is it's inherent cuteness.<br />Yuk.<br />My little Pony skinny and bony, made out of plastic hair is elastic.tamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01134388246045687616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8721320614508713903.post-26288084243325939422010-01-08T12:34:00.000-08:002010-01-08T12:44:18.402-08:00Vinyl stickers<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZC4fB5R83Y8b8venZ9UqtTiyrfN6OSE8oL9j94kxF3ZeeLTiu0Q-koAwFN7MRnUakkc0k5P3tYoQxtd9VbiEpKSGm8RyvIT6uAhcsYXOetVDfQB92_8ynmY9-d1fW-8nXCmPHoijru4A/s1600-h/many.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 239px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424470772846782706" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZC4fB5R83Y8b8venZ9UqtTiyrfN6OSE8oL9j94kxF3ZeeLTiu0Q-koAwFN7MRnUakkc0k5P3tYoQxtd9VbiEpKSGm8RyvIT6uAhcsYXOetVDfQB92_8ynmY9-d1fW-8nXCmPHoijru4A/s320/many.jpg" /></a><br />I started designing vinyl stickers over a year ago, and apart from some trial runs and a few loose copies none of them have materialised.<br />Most of them are based on these little critters that have also now cropped up in my blackbook.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6LWYotUclkDqzNmPOU2uNHDnOvBl8-H_-9A3kFKpbbxovpnaMft_2nAT1AuyzpKeYCjG04eBszApEDif5GYYpJ3Xg7YFkCdwIAn7vVHwLr8S_GT__kswZwcP4RCsjgZo6ebHSOmO3zhk/s1600-h/moonmen.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 233px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424470768725972194" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6LWYotUclkDqzNmPOU2uNHDnOvBl8-H_-9A3kFKpbbxovpnaMft_2nAT1AuyzpKeYCjG04eBszApEDif5GYYpJ3Xg7YFkCdwIAn7vVHwLr8S_GT__kswZwcP4RCsjgZo6ebHSOmO3zhk/s320/moonmen.jpg" /></a><br />I called these ones moon men, but they look more like paracetamol tablets. I thought paracetamol men was a bit of a mouthful, unlike paracetamol tablets themselves which are easily swallowed to aid with pain relief...handy that.<br /><br />I love working in monochrome, especially black and white, very graphic. At some point I'll photoshop a few of these ...not yet though, enjoying pens too much for that.<br /><br />Feel free to add any comments....even vile and abusive rants are welcome at this early stage, please avoid over excessive use of the word wanker though, tends to grate after a while.tamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01134388246045687616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8721320614508713903.post-9011372955680422112010-01-07T13:29:00.001-08:002010-01-07T14:37:34.610-08:00MEsita<div style="text-align: left; padding: 3px;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/gabrielcarrique/4188560226/" title="photo sharing"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/4188560226_1c81e15956.jpg" style="border: solid 2px #000000;" alt="" /></a><br /><span style="font-size: 0.8em; margin-top: 0px;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/gabrielcarrique/4188560226/">MEsita</a>, originally uploaded by <a href="http://www.flickr.com/people/gabrielcarrique/">Gabriel Carrique</a>.</span></div><p>Rock n roll....<br />No idea how this translates into English...perhaps 'here's some drawings I did on a large empty roll that used to contain wire', that would be the rational thing to note.<br /><br />But hey, the worlds a crazy messed up place...</p><br /><br />Muchos respect goes to Gabriel Carrique for this piece...top work fella<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/gabrielcarrique/"></a>tamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01134388246045687616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8721320614508713903.post-66921424397187603052010-01-07T12:37:00.000-08:002010-01-07T12:47:22.412-08:00blackbook<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg69PWwNE70Aq51e4AVPlRC0ikkcsD4loiUCjc8elNr8jhrwk69s6i8osbbR9Du7RmREIUTrLQh1kodzsL3DTFU6qTCu3cftqMpFfnz4HfX-grYaM9wjk63rjrCaSfOxF0SI1hquL_8Yj4/s1600-h/tamecrash.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg69PWwNE70Aq51e4AVPlRC0ikkcsD4loiUCjc8elNr8jhrwk69s6i8osbbR9Du7RmREIUTrLQh1kodzsL3DTFU6qTCu3cftqMpFfnz4HfX-grYaM9wjk63rjrCaSfOxF0SI1hquL_8Yj4/s320/tamecrash.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424100917341881746" /></a><br /><br />My little black book follows me everywhere, thankfully it's obedient and no longer urinates on the floor.<br /><br />I've got loads of them now, although I never seem to finish a complete book before starting a new one.<br />My habits have changed down the years, I no longer seem to sketch in them as such, if I haven't got a fairly solid idea for a piece I don't even begin.
